Privacy Policy

Visual Mute is a utility app built by Strudelhound Software. It is designed to do its job entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information about you — because the app never has access to it in the first place.

This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what that means. It applies to the Visual Mute application distributed through the Google Play Store.

We collect no data. Visual Mute does not gather personal information such as your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, or device identifiers. It does not create user accounts and does not ask you to sign in.

Any settings or preferences you configure in the app are stored locally on your device. They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else, and they are removed when you uninstall the app.

Visual Mute does not use an internet connection. It does not “phone home,” send telemetry, check in with a server, or transmit anything off your device.

The app requests only the device permissions strictly required for its core functionality, and it uses them solely on-device to deliver the feature you asked for. It does not use permissions to collect or transmit data.

Visual Mute contains no third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking software development kits (SDKs). Because the app has no network connection, no third party receives any information about you through it.

Note that Google Play itself may collect certain information when you download or update the app (for example, aggregate install statistics). That data is handled under Google's Privacy Policy, not this one, and is outside our control.

Visual Mute does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because no data is collected, transmitted, or stored off-device, the app poses no data-privacy risk to children and complies with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations.

To align with Google Play's Data safety requirements, we confirm the following for Visual Mute:

• No user data is collected.
• No user data is shared with third parties.
• No data is transmitted off the device.
• Data is not encrypted in transit for the simple reason that no data is ever transmitted.
• There is no data to request deletion of.

If we ever change how Visual Mute handles information — for instance, if a future version introduces a feature that requires data — we will update this policy and revise the effective date at the top of the page before that feature ships. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
